Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name, date of birth, or other term entered into a search tool is sent directly to the outside company that operates it. That provider processes the request and supplies its result. We do not keep or log those search terms on our systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
When you email us, we retain the message as needed to respond. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our systems automatically receive basic technical information when a page loads:
- Page-view dates and times
- Your device’s IP address
- Browser name and version
- Device category and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent on them
- A referring website, when available
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files placed on a device. We and our analytics services use them to measure traffic patterns, such as popular pages and where visits end. Browser controls can block cookies, though doing so may change how parts of the website work.
What We Do With This Data
Collected information supports operation and improvement of the website. We use it for these purposes:
- Diagnosing and correcting technical faults
- Operating the website and maintaining performance
- Routing a search request to the selected outside provider
- Measuring which content is useful or needs revision
- Displaying advertising that may reflect user interests
No Warrant Data on File
We do not host, maintain, assemble, or sell a warrant database or personal warrant records. Dade County has no public statewide warrant-search portal. Our content instead identifies official routes such as Dade County Sheriff, the issuing courts, the Superior Clerk, and applicable Georgia agencies. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Visitor information is not compiled into consumer reports or records about other people.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies supply the search boxes found on some pages. Their privacy policies, not this policy, govern information submitted through their tools. We do not control how a partner retains, uses, or shares that information. Review its terms before starting a search.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Dade County Sheriff, Georgia courts and agencies, legal resources, or outside search services. Once you leave this website, the destination’s privacy rules apply. Check those rules before providing personal information.
Some advertising companies may measure activity across websites to select targeted ads. That processing occurs through their services.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal information. Data may be disclosed to these limited recipients:
- Analytics vendors that measure use and performance
- Search providers that process a query you submit
- Advertising networks serving ads on the website
- Government or law-enforcement bodies when a valid legal order compels disclosure
How We Protect Your Data
We use standard safeguards for information under our control. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so we cannot promise that unauthorized access or a breach will never occur.
Users Under 18
The website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If we learn that a minor supplied such data, we will delete it promptly.
Your Data Rights
Rights differ by where a user lives, and the project research did not identify a Georgia general consumer privacy statute that supports a broader claim. The Georgia Open Records Act, O.C.G.A. §§ 50-18-70 et seq., concerns records held by public agencies and does not create consumer-data rights against this private website. Subject to applicable law, you may:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Ask us to delete data where the law permits
- Object to or opt out of certain processing when applicable
Updates to This Policy
We may revise this policy. A changed version will appear here with an updated effective date, so users should review it from time to time.
Effective date: September 10, 2026
